This weekend put on an open house in Big Canoe. We had 3 houses open. One was new construction on Lake Petit for 849,000. One was on the Golf course at 529000. The third was also on the golf course at 599,000. Now this was chancy as it is Labor day weekend. But we advertised it this way
Friday 3-530 Realtors only. Saturday 1-3 General public. For the Realtors we had Margaritas and a gas card give away. For the general public we had the same give away but no Margaritas. We emailed to our local board members and to the Big Canoe Realtor community. This insured a good turn out on Friday. Saturday the turnout was a little sparse. But we did advertise on our radio show and to many local folks. So all in all I was very happy with the turn out. One person is interested in one of the homes. This would make it all worth it.
I am posting this as a way to increase turn out. Make one day special for your loacl realtors and advertise the heck out of it. Remember 3 out of 4 deals you sell will involve another Realtor so why not focus your marketing there??
