Interview with The Federal Reserve

Earlier today I posted a link to the Mountain Real Estate report. This week we had a guest from the Federal reserve bank on our Radio show. I am placing the link in this blog. The radio show lasts about 25 minutes and the first 2 minutes are introduction followed by 20 minutes of the interview. So for those of you who may have missed this earlier I think if you have 20 minutes or so you might find this really interesting. After all the boys and girls at the Fed are the ones that are supposed to know what is going on.

Bent Tree community News

With the great spirit of volunteerism Bent Tree is  alive , well and a great place to live. The folks at All Mountain Realty are your community experts when it comes to Bent Tree , Big Canoe or many other places in our North Georgia Mountains.

Keep Bent Tree Beautiful, a group of concerned property owners dedicated to action that results in returning our community to a condition that we can all be proud of, is coordinating two work days on Friday, September 24th and Saturday, September 25th. We’re looking for volunteers to help with clean-up and clearing of deadfall in the areas near the Administration building and up Little Pine Mountain Road to the three way stop.  There may be more areas worked, depending on how many volunteers show up to help.

 

We’ll be gathering at 9:00 a.m. at the recycle center where work assignments will be handed out. We plan to work all day both days, with breaks for nourishment (snacks will be provided…please bring whatever you want to drink).  If you can’t work all day, please come for a few hours. We’d appreciate it if you could bring any tools and supplies that might help us get the job done (don’t count on electricity being available).  Please be sure to label tools with your name. Also, since we can’t predict how many people will show up, we strongly suggest carpooling or drop-off/pick-up to avoid parking issues.

 

Thanks to all who can come to this inaugural work project.  There will be many more in the coming months, so please watch your email, the website, the echo, and bulletin boards for announcements. And don’t forget to ask your friends and neighbors to join us.
