Charlie Ragonesi Big Canoe Realestate's Blog: Never listen to the news before coffee

Never listen to the news before coffee

Wow did I make a mistake this morning. I listened to the news before a cup of coffee. So what I heard was Social Security going broke, Medicare going broke, Foreclosures spiking to a new high and Bankruptcies escalating. All without a warm nice cup of coffee.

It seems to me we have been blaming the wrong folks for our problems. The democrats and republicans have done a great job of getting us to not like the other guy. They have done a great job of dividing us while THEY BOTH plundered. It seems to me it really is time to throw both sets of politicians out and find another group .

These guys have really made a BIG mess of things. It is time for a new way. I will be looking actively for a viable third party to replace these folks. I want to enjoy the news not be terrified by it!

I agree.  I can't STAND the news anymore and all the doom and gloom and corruptness and blah blah blah!!!  Enough already!  Hope the coffee was good.  :)

I agree to a degree, having a viable 3rd party might due us some good. What I would not like to see is what happens in Europe, where there are so many Parties that they have to form coalitions inorder to run things!!

Charlie, I haven't listened or watched the news in many months.  And I feel a lot better now!  What I need to know or want to know I get mostly from the Internet, sometimes I tune into BBC world news.

Good morning Charlie!

You're right. I can't listen to the news anymore. It's too depressing.

Charlie - I get my coffee ready the evening before. I have to let the dog out in the morning so just hit the start button as I pass the coffee pot and by the time the dog is fed, my coffee is ready. And, I don't listen to the news until later in the day.

Charlie, that is really depressing especially before a first cup of coffee. The swine flu pandemic is just about over, so the news is back to their old ways - doom and gloom.

Charlie - the news isn't the news anymore ... it is one long political diatribe.  News used to be facts - now everybody has an opinion and a spin.  It does get old - watch the evening news, but not before having your evening libation.

I have a solution that has worked wonders for me since the inauguration. ..I do not watch the NEWS anymore!! I check yahoo headlines everyday when I go to my email. . just in case an asteroid is coming to earth.

Charlie, The two party system always keeps us divided in our country and it gets us nowhere.  Everyone should change their voting status to independent and then the politicians will start listening to the people instead of special interest groups.
