Once again we are having snow in the North Georgia Mountains. I have been here 22 years and have not seen a winter like this. So I am not showing property today that is for sure. But in case you think I am wimping out here is what it looks like where I live.
It is really really pretty. But nobody is going anywhere today and by the way it is still coming down
The netting you see is Deer netting as we have to keep them off the plants we want to keep. Think you know what gated communities are like. Think again. Enjoy the peace and beauty of the North Georgia Mountains in the gated community of Big Canoe.

Charlie, I've never heard of anyone using deer netting but I understand the overpopulation is becoming pesty. The snow looks lovely but I know you are ready for spring.
Deer netting is interesting but I've heard controlled hunts are the most humane.
Charlie,
Looks like a snow job to me...!!! I see what you mean...!!! LOL, mercifully
Thanks, Fran
Sure looks like northern New Hampshire most years... Light year for us must be your turn... Toughen up go show...
Are you sure you didnt take this photo in Wisconsin? Hope it melts soon
Charlie - While we don't miss shoveling out from under we do miss the snow we used to get. the weather patterns certainly are shifting.
During the first two weeks of February, Big Canoe had its controlled deer hunt and harvested 91 deer for the county food bank.
Didn't go far enough, last week I counted 14 deer that walked through my yard heading in your direction Charlie.
Wow-do they even have plows and sand in your area for this?
