Frog on a Lily pad

This little guys picture  was captured in a pond in Big Canoe. I have to give credit to Justin the photographer who is the son of friends of ours. Our mountains are indeed home to many beautiful sights. You do have to keep your eyes open to see some of them !!!

At first I was admiring the beauty of that flower and the bright green leaves or whatever they are, and then finally saw the little froggie... toad, or whatever it is.  How adorable.  Great picture... thanks so much.

Charlie, beautiful photo and nice work by the photographer. You are so right in that beauty is all around us...we just have to stop long enough to allow it into our awareness. You know I have a thing for frogs here in Shasta County.
