Charlie Ragonesi Big Canoe Realestate's Blog: Mountain Community update

Mountain Community update

We are starting to see the return of second home and retirement buyers to the North Georgia mountains. As folks are more able to sell their existing homes, they become able to buy here. We also see younger families leaving the big cities for a more traditional way of life. If you are in Atlanta or Philadelphia or Minnesota or where ever and are looking for natural surroundings in a good climate consider the North Georgia Mountains. We are affordable, amenity rich, and just a great place to be. Take  it from a NYC transplant !

HI CHARLIE!  I too see a small trend of younger folks buying second homes - prices are getting more affordable and I think people do want to slow down a bit and live where they can breathe fresh air!

Hi Charlie!  You guys have such beautiful mountain views, I don't blame you for being a NYC transplant to the N. Georgian mountains!

Charlie, The mountains look beautiful.  Good to know that people are trying to relax and live the good life.  In my small town, we only have street lights at the intersections!  The little things like that, do make a difference in our day and night:)

We will soon be seeing the return of the Snow Birds down here as well......the golf courses get crowded, as do the streets - but that is good for the economy.
