Charlie Ragonesi Big Canoe Realestate's Blog: Is it Spring in BIg Canoe

Is it Spring in BIg Canoe

You could argue that it is not Spring in Big Canoe. After all our mountain temperature dropped into the 30's and the 20's at night right after the first day of Spring. We even had 2 days of snow. Not a ton of snow but enough to cover the roads and look pretty before it melted . So is it Spring?

Turkeys in Big Canoe

Going around in Big Canoe we are seeing sights that indicate it is spring.

Turkeys in Spring Color

You can see that the young men's fancies have turned toward love. Judging by this group if this were ancient Rome,... well you fill in the rest.

Flowers are starting to bloom and while we have not cleaned out the chimney yet to end the winter season  we can for sure see signs of spring.

Hi Charlie,

Big Canoe is beautiful and to see the wild turkeys all courting each other is so cute. I have pairs of birds in my yard and the nests are going up right now so it is the time for romance and new little ones. Happy Easter.

Charlie,

As soon as those buds come out, and my allergies crank up...I'll know its Spring. I don't have the natural instincts of a young turkey.
